Storm Scenes from Strem's Place, Part Three

Even though everyone around me was affected, I was blessed in retaining power...and I am very thankful. It did go off and on several times throughout the night. However, I was the only one in a four block radius that seemed to have power this morning. Hopefully, it will still be on when I get back home this evening, and I hope my neighbors will have their power restored. Either that, or I will need to be making them hot cocoa throughout the night.

I'm so thankful to be living in the south. We had storms all night and the temp droped about 40 degrees or so in 4 hours, but we just had wind and rain. No ice. No snow.

I'm so happy to hear you didn't lose power. We got a lot of snow but were incredibly lucky that we didn't have massive power outages like some other areas.

Your house is picture perfect - exactly how I would expect it to be : )

it really is an adorable house, strem. i am intrigued with your report. we had a 4 day ice storm down here (north mississippi) back in '94. folks still talk about it.

(molly and kathryn green's mom) hope to meet you for myself some day.

Rachel Tsunami: I am so glad you "stopped by." I know exactly who you are... but hope to meet you VERY SOON also! My pictures do not show any of the worst of it around town, and it was sad to see so many old trees shattered to pieces. But, the trees that are intact look like beautiful ice sculptures. Maybe your family will be able to travel up here for a church meeting sometime and stay with me!
